I plan to graduate Miami University in 2028 with my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. I also plan to make sure I have a strong GPA so I an apply to many schools.

In Field Hours

To help strengthen my application for graduate school, I plan to make sure I get enough clinical observation hours. I already have someone I can observe back home to get started early.

Grad school/DPT Program

When the time comes, I plan on possibly going to BGSU for my DPT program because it is close to home, but I'm still keeping my options open.

Take the GRE

I will take the GRE before applying to which DPT programs I have selected. I hope for good scores to help me get into the program.

Apply to DPT program

Once I am ready I will apply to whichever DPT program I choose. I plan to include any GRE grades, letters of recommendation, or any other transcripts.

Attend Interviews

I plan to attend interviews to find some practices that may have my interest as well as get an understanding of the questions I maybe be asked when it's time to fully apply.

Enroll in DPT Program

I plan to eventually enroll in the program of my choosing and plan to focus on my course work to make sure I am successful. If I choose BGSU then I will at least have to comfort of my home to help me relax.

Complete Clinical Rotations During Program

During my DPT program I can do clinical rotation to advance and create a well-rounded skill set for myself. I plan to work mostly with a sport specific setting because I would like to apply my teachings to sports.

Graduate with DPT

I plan to eventually graduate the DPT program and proceed to study for the NPTE to further get my license.

Pass the NPTE

I plan to use any resources I have to help me pass the NPTE so can obtain my license. I also plan to ask people in the practice for any useful tips for the examination.

Obtain my License

In Ohio, I will need to complete the OH JAM tests before obtaining my license. the tests is 50 multiple choice questions that I can pay $48 to do online and score at least an 80% to pass.

Start my career

Once I get my license, i can then start in my respective field of practice. Along with this I plan to implement my teachings to help athletes like myself perform at their best potential.
