I chose that lyric in the song to show how much Gatsby was thinking about Daisy, and how much he was overthinking about Daisy and be scared and wanting to just go home. He is always thinking about her sometimes a little too much.

I chose that lyric of that song because Gatsby see's Tom and Daisy is just obsessed over the fact of having Daisy. Wants her back so bad he is about to go crazy. Anything anyone says he thinks that he is just going to get her back.
