The hobby that I personally enjoy is watching MMA, or mixed martial arts. This includes organizations like Bellator, UFC, and ONE Championship. I think that watching fighters in these organizations fight is electrifying for many reasons. And one of the biggest is the way that you can get attached to some of the fighters and their personal stories. Or the tense rivalries that sometimes happen between them. My personal favorite fighter is Dustin Poirier, he's a great guy that still has his manners and respect when he fights, while also being extremely dangerous in the cage. Dustin beat the infamous Conor McGregor twice during their rivalry, making for an awesome back-to-back win.

The reasoning for each song being on the playlist goes as follows:

Diamonds - Rihanna: This is Dustin Poirier's walkout music, reasoning being his nickname "The Diamond"

Superstar - Lupe Fiasco: This is a walkout song for a fighter named Sean O' Malley, I like him but it's mostly how good the song is that makes me love it, not the fact that it's his walkout.

Feiticeira - Deftones: I love Deftones without any extra reason but a fighter over a decade ago named Nick Diaz walked out to this song because it was loved by his late girlfriend. Which gives it a bit of backstory that the other fighters' songs don't have.

Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle) by Limp Bizkit and Needles and Pins by Deftones are just songs with a vibe that I relate to my experience watching the UFC, they're very upbeat, fun, and make you feel excited. I sometimes listen to them while watching the fights.

I can't really teach how to be an MMA fighter in one video. So instead, I'll teach a way to not have to pay $80 for a UFC pay-per-view. I personally use my jail broken Amazon Fire Stick with an app called Kodi on it. Everybody does this because ESPN's $80 PPV price is ridiculous. This will save you a lot of money given that PPV's are monthly, so assuming you would buy one every month otherwise, you would be at over $960 annually just to watch these fights.

Why I Enjoy MMA

There are dozens of reasons why I enjoy MMA. Anywhere from obviously the incredible action that comes from good matchups to the fighters that actually have stage personalities. It's not staged like the WWE, but some of the fighters have extremely entertaining personalities that almost make them feel like celebrities who know how to fight, and no two of them are similar. There're honorable, disciplined athletes like Lyoto Machida, who bows and prays after every win or loss. Then there's despicable, loud and rude fighters like the notorious Conor McGregor. With so many in-between hailing from all over the world, the greatness of two fighters with strong personalities and skills clashing cannot be matched in any other combat sport, I think boxing is out of the spotlight and MMA is in. Some would argue the current era of the UFC isn't the best ever, but it's definitely still full of talent with the most fans ever. The young sport of MMA has an incredibly bright future, and I plan on being there for the whole ride.
