Also when people care more about their social life and friends and partying they tend to not pay as much attention in classes so since they’re popular, they think they know everything about everything, when they really don’t know much because they dont take the time to improve themselves. 
People who are less popular sometimes want to gain popularity do there’s always peer pressure. While one person might be suffering one of society's elements another may be enjoying their wealth or status due to this same element. As long as we keep ourselves in the cave we can't truly understand the other side of the equation. We must venture out of part of society and see what's going on and realize what has been missing. Most people expect someone else to give them insight and knowledge for them. As a member of society insight must be discovered on our own. It's our responsibility to question and be skeptical, not your mentor, parent, church or government.
