On a cold blustery saturday afternoon the chairboys got their 7th win on the bounce by winning 3-2 away at Lincoln moving them 4 points clear of second place wrexham with a game in hand whilst lincoln stay 9th

The match started with the home team on top the first big chance falling to Jack moylan as the lincoln press forced wanderers keeper franco ravaizolli to make a rushed clearance falling to the feet of moylan who snatched at the shot dragging it wide of the post

After lincoln’s early pressure the away team carried out a nice passage of play ending up with powerful drilled shot from daniel harvie stinging the gloves of wickens who saves sharply rebounding the ball to his left for a corner

Both teams with early chances it was the home side who took the lead in the 14th minute through full back tendayi darikwa who scores his second goal of the season catching a sweet volley that nestles in the bottom corner. 1-0 to the imps

It all of a sudden got better for the chairboys with inform striker Fred onyedinma netting home from 6 yards out putting the chairboys in front for the first time in the game.

The second half saw not much action but a penalty just after the hour mark see Dylan duffy bringing down Fred onyedinma in the box seeing the chair boys have a penalty. All was good for Lincoln the with wickens saving the penalty from Luke Leahy.

In this action packed game in the sky bet league one we saw the record breaking chairboys come away with a close 3-2 win against the imps on a miserable Saturday afternoon at the LNER stadium.

This result has huge baring on the top end of league one pushing Wycombe to 7 wins in a row and putting them 4 points ahead of Wrexham. However this pushes Lincoln city out of the play off places and into 9th just one point adrift of the play off places.

Lincoln city had a very intense start with a good press and forced the Wycombe keeper into miss placing a back pass straight to Jack Moylan who fumbles an early effort

That was all to come from the first half as the imps trail 2-1 at the break.

Shortly into the beginning of the second half Irishman, Dylan Duffy took a superb strike that struck the crossbar that nothing came of it. Only minutes after Ben house had a header saved by the Wycombe keeper. Shortly after Sean roughan gave away a penalty to Wycombe, which was kept out by the trailing leg of imps keeper George wickens. To surely finish the game joe low scored a headed goal to make it there 3rd or the game.

Finally Darwika got his second of the game which is his first brace of his career. Unfortunately for the imps this was only a consolation goal as the game ended 3-2 to Wycombe.

Wycombe continue there winning streak up to 7th wins on the trot staying top of the league. As Lincoln fall from playoffs to 9th.

A fast paced start for lincoln city saw a chance to capitalise on Wickham keeper Ravizollis’ early mistake which led to a massive chance for lincoln forward Jack Moylan to put his team in the driving seat. A huge miss devastated fans however who expected the net to bulge. Quickly after Wickham with a fast paced attack caused a shot on target which was saved graciously by Lincoln's George Wickens.
