         <description><![CDATA[<div>BIG IDEA: Momentum<br>Subject: Physics<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Unit 11.3 - Force &amp; Motion<br>Aim: To get students to understand the law of conservation of momentum and energy via scratch animation.<br><br>I am new to scratch myself. I find the coding software fun and easy to get a grip on with more practice.&nbsp;<br>I'm working (progressively) on the the collision of two balls at a point where the mass of one can be calculated using the velocities of the two balls and the known mass of another. This will allow students to apply the law of conservation of momentum to deduce the unknown mass (or velocity if mass is given). Students can do further work into calculating the loss of kinetic energy (actually converted to other energy forms such as heat and sound) and thus additionally embrace the law of conservation of energy directly related to the scratch model created. Thus the principle of conservation of MOMENTUM and ENERGY can be presented side by side.</div>]]></description>

The four predators are set in motion towards the grasshopper. The player jumps the grasshopper by controlling the space key. Every time the grasshopper jumps when the predators like snake, chicken, and frog approaches, the player scores a point.&nbsp;<br>If the predicator eats the prey then the player  looses the game to another player.  Who ever has the highest score wins the game. </div>]]></description>
