She was killed by a blow to her head delivered by her mother's boyfriend. This led to a spinal injury because she hit the bed as a result of the violence.

17th February - the doctor asked the health visitor to visit because of worries from the playgroup about Kennedy's hair falling out. 

27th February - Kennedy was unable to open her eye because it was swollen. 

2nd March- admitted to hospital for serious eye injuries.

7th  March- Kennedy had a sore back and a bruised left cheek

23rd- referred to hospital and social worker for bruised face, back pain and general wellbeing 

20th-24th April- admitted to hospital again for bruising and drug ingestion.  During this time Kennedy was unsteady on her feet and refused to walk

5th May- discharged from hospital

16th- admitted to intensive care, discharged same day
