         <description><![CDATA[<div>The rebels&nbsp;<br>(farmers ) fought against most of the politicians because the farmers land was being taken away and they were put in jail.<br>Shays and his army shut down the courts and tried to fight to shut down Boston. After the rebellion shays men got captured but not shays and three of the soldiers got hung. Shay ended up getting money to live on years later and it wasn't a total fail.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Who: Daniel shays, other farmers, Massachusetts<br>Why: Daniel Shays and the other farmers were rebelling against the government and Massachusetts was defending it.<br>What: There were many battles and it lasted for months. Towards the end 150 shays were captured with a few leaders, only 3 were hanged. The rest had to prove loyalty and was on probation.<br>What Now: It showed the government was too weak and gave states too much power. They needed to change things up and fix it. </div>]]></description>

Crop prices declined, many farmers were unable to pay of their loans and taxes.<br>The courts were closed down. The men that were imprisoned were sentence to be hanged. 12 of them were not hanged and marched to the gallows.&nbsp;<br>Shays applied a military pension.
