We decided to take drive through needles point highway. Needles point is a road high up in the moutains. We all thought it was a good idea until we found out that the road was very slim and there was nothing on the sides of the roads to keep us from falling. It was the very first time any of us had gone. It was a 6 hour trip and we had to stop many time to take breaks and see the different sites. When we got there, it was like a different world! it was an amusement park in the mall! I know, crazy, right! The first thing that caught my attention was the roller coaster. I had never ridden one and I was excited and scared to try it. We decided to look around and try other rides before we went on the coaster. when my dad and I finally got on, I couldn't stop riding it we rode it 5 time in a row.Oh, one more thing I got hit in the face by Patrick Star. During these festivals, the people in town celebrated til dawn and in the morning we would attend church and families would provide free food and the party would continue. One year, my family was tasked with making food to provide a free service where we would cook for the townsfolk and serve meals. When the people started to pool in my brother and I worked as waiters, serving food and beverages to the hungry people. It was my first ever experience dealing in customer service and it made me develop a greater respect to those who work part-time jobs. The plane trip was so long and extremely boring but when we finally got there it was so beautiful to see all the palm trees and the nice weather. Though the scenery was nice, we were all so hot all the time, going from Chicago to California weather is quite a hard thing to get used too. Though I was excited about going to California at first but near the end I really missed my mom because I spent a lot more time with her and I'ts been this long without other family (In case you didn't know my parents are divorced and this was the summer after, about three years ago.) After I got over that we went to so many amazing places and it was so cool to see a totally different place with so many different things.
