On August 6th 1973, the famous singer, Stevie Wonder, was involved in a car accident. Following a performance in Greenville, South Carolina, Wonder was driving North on Interstate 85 in which his cousin, John Wesley Harris, was driving. Harris was distracted and hit a truck in front of them, driven by Charlie Sheperd. Wonder moved forward which caused him to hit his head and go into a coma for 4 days.
