I think a great theme would be "transitions"- just like how fall transitions into winter. When was a time that you transitioned in your life?  From a friendship, moving homes, loss of a loved one, etc.

To put this together, I think we can advertise with posters around the school, a Google site, or maybe both. I think we need to add some motivation into the picture. Many people like to have a reward- something they'll get for completing a task.

Making a better writing community can lead to kids who need help one day finding a place where they could get writing help. But having a writers night would be for kids who want to share their own creativity and nights like we are talking about would be something they could get their roots into the ground sort of speak. I think posting things into a void could get annoying for beginning writers, this would try to avoid that from happening.
