Influence on the Constitution

The sources say he took little part in debates but pushed his federalist agenda very hard. He was probably the biggest reason why his state ratified the constitution. With his values in mind it is easy to say that he definitely tried very hard to give the constitution more power then it actually has. Given that he actually practiced law it would be resonable to assume he knew what he was talking about when he actually decided to take part. All things considered he had a decent part in giving the constitution more power than the Article of Federation.
