NTH@C has an environment that is calmer than most schools, more open. It, unlike many places, gives an opportunity to grow and bond with others, and be part of something. The teachers are genuine, and have real personalities, and they're willing to work with the students to bring them to success. I don't mean different as in we just do PBL, but there are so many opportunities for learners to be creative. We get so much freedom with how we are able to express ourselves, what clubs we want to do, and how we want to learn. The teachers here are beyond amazing, and they go the extra mile. They treat the students like mutuals instead of acting like they have a lot of superiority over them. Teachers understand how teenagers are, and they put so much hard work to make sure that learning material is being comprehended. New Tech is a FAMILY, and I can't emphasize this enough. People from all different grades talk to each other, and there is a 100% chance that you'll see somebody you know when you walk the halls. All of the fun activities allow students to bond with others over common interests. Not to mention, we focus a lot of our work around community service. The incorporated food drives, New Tech Gives Back, and The Day are many things that New Tech does to give back. With Networking, it puts us over the edge. Networking is so unique and interesting. Every single Friday, students LITERALLY get to choose their schedule and spend time with their networkings in order to achieve things such as door decorating, making friendship bracelets for underprivileged teenagers, or playing fun games.
