<title>Density, Buoyancy, and Tools in Science by Lynette Eichenlaub</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/eichshouse4/ijyevbom7vs9</link>
      <description>Objectives:
The students will review and practice how to measure matter using metric measurement and the proper use of scientific tools. Next, the students will learn that density is a physical property of matter used by scientists to identify substances when the matter is unknown. The students will know density is mass per unit of volume.
They will learn how to calculate the density of substances (regular and irregular solids and liquids) from measurements of mass and volume. The students will predict whether an object will float or sink. At the end of the unit, students will be able to construct an appropriate graph from data and develop quantitative statements about the relationships between variables.</description>
