And we will focus mainly on the following objectives:

• To observe nature and share hiking trails that you have done in Catalonia and Terceira.

• To know what are your healthiest lifestyle habits? Besides describing hiking routes, you can also tell us about the most typical traditional dishes of Terceira and Catalunya, but those that are healthier.

• Finally, we want you to learn about the European Union, we live in two countries that are part of it.

I really enjoy playing outdoors, singing, having new experiences, going for walks, traveling, playing various musical instruments, and spending time with friends and family. My hobby is playing the trumpet. I attend the conservatory at Francisco Ornelas da Câmara School, located in the city of Praia da Vitória, and I also play in the Filarmónica União Sebastianense, in the village of São Sebastião.

I live with my parents. My father’s name is Lino Faria, he is 48 years old, and he is an Agricultural Entrepreneur. My mother’s name is Vanda Alves, she is 46 years old, and she works in the hospitality industry at the Terceira Mar Hotel. However, she will be on vacation in May to spend time with us. They are very fun.

I have a pet that is very crazy and playful, and he will greet you with great joy! He is a cat, and his name is Mickey.

I feel happy and safe at my school; the teachers and staff are very welcoming. I have many friends throughout the school. There are several activities at my school, such as the Erasmus+ project, fairs, study trips, and much more.

I am planning a fun and adventurous week to welcome you with great enthusiasm so that we can get to know each other better. I am looking forward to meeting you!

My name is Matilde Furtado, I am 11 eleven years old and I live in Porto Judeu, on Terceira Island. In my free time, I like to go for walks, play with my friends, read, play football and cook. 

I also like school. There, I can be with my friends. The teachers are friendly, the school is big and there are many different activities. I am in class 6A. I like several subjects, but Physical Education and Portuguese are my favorites.

I have a little sister, her name is Paula and she is 8 yeras old.

I have a dog too, its name is Trufa. You can see it in the picture.

I like swimming. I used to practice this sport every day and I do competitions during the weekend. In my free time I like cooking and reading too.

My favourite color is purple and my favourite food is pasta with cheese.

This leisure area is a very welcomoing place. It is great for people who want to have barbecues , and it is also good for camping .

On of its biggest attractions is the waterfall with crystal-clear water , wherne we can cool off .

There is also the Frechas trail , which starts near the church and ends at the leisure area.

I'm Miquel and I'm writing you this letter to explain everything I do and to introduce myself.

I am eleven years old and my brother Arnau is ten years old. I live in Santa Agnes de Malanyanes, in a town with many mountains and here I cycle, run and walk.

My favorite sports are basketball and soccer, which I do in the garden, and at home I also love to play the piano.

My house is near the school, five minutes walking and one minute from the mountain.

I play basketball on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in Granollers at the basketball club and my favorite basketball team is Barça.

My parents are Núria and Xevi, who are engineers, my father works with chips and my mother with computers.

I really want to see you and have a good time, and when I come to the Azores, I will have a great time too.

Monte Brasil is a beautiful place where you can go hiking, take walks, see animals, ride bikes, and visit various tourist and historical sites, such as the Fortress of São João Baptista.  

It is also a volcanic cone, whit 205 meters of maximum altitude, and crater submerged up to 30 meters deep. 

Monte Brasil is largest cone of all the Azores, forming a peninsula with about 1.4 km, surrounded by two bays: the Bay of Angra to the East and the Bay of Fanal to the West.

My birthday was in 8th of January.

I live in a city called Granollers (Barcelona).

I have a brother, Lluc. He and my parents (Ester & Xavi) also are very exited to share moments with Madalena (like me).

My favorite color is pink and blue and my favorites subjects are P.E. and theatre. My favorites foods is spanish omelet and soup. As you have already seen in the photo I have a guinea pig called "Blanquet". My school is Granullarius, is big and red, I go there to study, do friends and having a good time.

I love singing, learning new things and play tennis.

I'm really looking forward to the day.
