British did not return enslaved people, but were told too. Congress recommended states return any property seized from loyalist. Neither U.S nor Britain lived up to terms. "I am finally free from the British ties." Britain treated us unfairly. They failed to promote trade, they gave us taxation without reparations, and also made us house and provide for the troops. I am proud that we were able to defeat the most powerful army in the world. We couldn't have done it without courage, team work, and most importantly George Washington Britain doesn't understand how we feel.

America will be lost without British Governments help. " I am ashamed to say that Britain, the most powerful army lost against the weakest army." I believe the British government was providing the colonist with almost everything they need. Colonist don't  understand that we protected them and we deserve to get paid back through the little taxes they need to pay.
