Today our lives are so reliant on the use of internet. From education, jobs, internet banking, social media to even shopping online. My kids had to live with no power. They had never gone for more than a couple of house with no power. With no power went the lights, the tv, sky. They didn't  realise that once tv finished at night and started again in the morning.  New went the internet, no power, no internet and last but not least we lost cell phone reception.  They kids found the change of no power very difficult as they have always had it.
