 So, there she was, facing the unpredictable weather of  mage peak. A land of destructive magic weathers. 

Slowly, she took a few steps into the mysterious void of  untamed prairie.

      Temples and pyramids !  the Maya had a lot of  temples, pyramids as well as general architecture !  wow, look at those pyramids; did you know that the maya built pyramids without the help of pack animals?  Temples were made purposely high and close to the heavens; that was why they were on top of the pyramids. They were both found in the center of the city states. Maya architecture was amazing! I wonder what else the Maya created. 

Aztec Architecture

         Wow! The Aztec made a city on top of a lake and had different kinds of homes made out of stone, 

adobe and mud! Well first off ,the Aztec capital was tenochtitlan. The streets there made a pattern of squares. Commoners built their houses out of clay bricks or adobe as well as mud huts. Last but not least, palaces were built from carved stone. What was your favorite fact about the aztec?

Inca architecture

Wow! Did you know the inca built roads with stone and primitive tools? Well, they did, they fitted the stone together so precisely that they were more smooth than some the roads today! The empire had 24,000 miles of road. As well as rope bridges called suspension bridges. Amazing! What was your favorite fact about the inca?

  

Chapter 1, Finding Home

It had been a week, a week since she found out were her parents were. She didn’t know who they were. But she did know where they were, the north mountain. Snow was leaving. She was finally going to meet them, her parents, who she had never met, her parents who were not hobbits, her parents, who she didn’t know the names of, her parents, who she never knew she had.

Chapter 2, The Dark Woods

Snow wandered into the dark woods. Where it is said that you can see the ghosts of past loved ones. She was so painstrucken from the death of Endon. So worried that she may see her pani’s face once again. But soon she had reached the heart of the woods. She looked around and around as the light magic swirled around her. Now, as clear as day, was the face of Endon. 

Chapter 3, Endon’s Message

“Pani, pani!” exclaimed the joy filled Snow. Then Endon’s ghost opened his mouth to speak. “Snow, you must find your real parents.” the ghost smiled, then faded away. Snow went forth, encouraged, but sobbing, through the dark woods. Suddenly she stopped abruptly, and to her surprise, was in front of a great ice blue mountain.

Chapter 4, The Yeti

Snow was a little more than halfway up the huge snow capped mountain, when she saw a huge snow covered monster. It said “I is yeti! I eat small thing!”. Snow ran as fast as she could go. She ran up the mountain. She ran so much her legs were shaking. When she was standing on the tip of the mountain she saw nothing but fog. Then she heard a roaring noise, and was knocked of the tip of the mountain, she was falling. After a few seconds, she hit something and realised she was no longer falling.

Chapter 5, The Bridge 

When Snow woke up, she was sitting on a bridge made of ice. She got up, and walk across, still sore and numb. She staggered to the end of the bridge. But fell through a gap in the wood, she grasped and clawed at the rickety bridge. Finally, she was able to get herself up. She was tired, and she could barely see anything. But soon the fog cleared up and she could see the place she should have been her whole life, she was ready to meet her parents.

Chapter 6, Faith and Snow

The first person Snow met was Faith a beautiful, strong and brave warrior. She was the same age as Snow. “Hi! My name is Faith, are you one of us? You look just like~” she said, “um, like someone we lost…”. “Who did you lose?”, “Lily and Orson Mitunn, and uh, before that, fourteen years ago, their daughter, Snowflake. But her bassinet said Snow. She was in a prophecy she stopped the war, last month.” Snow’s eyes were wide. “My

name’s Snow”, she muttered, “I stopped the war”. Faith took her to the mountain village. When Snow and Faith got to the village, they were to late.

Chapter 7, A Dead Village 

The village was destroyed. Her family was gone, she would never meet them. But she knew now that she was an ice nymph. They headed back, towards the hobbit village.

Chapter 1, A Hero’s Death

When they were in the hobbit village once again, Snow grew ill. She was sick for many moons. But soon, she was to weak, she couldn’t breath. Faith had gone to get some food for her. When was back at the medicine hut, Snow was gone.  Faith dropped the plate of food and fell to the floor, sobbing. “I’m so sorry” she muttered. Faith’s long white hair was draped down her back. Then she saw the face of a hobbit. “ Hello, I am Endon. I need you to know something about the prophecy, you were the one meant to fulfill it. Not Snow” Endon whispered, then dwindled until he was only a hushed voice flowing away with the zephyr. Faith was surprised, but only for a second. Someone meant to fulfill a prophecy would never just die. That means though, that the prophecy has not yet been fulfilled. Luckily, Faith was audacious. She was a master of archery, and lionhearted. The world was in luck.

Chapter 2, Loomis 

Light. If only there was enough to to go around. Faith was angered. How could Endon let Snow die if he knew she was not in the prophecy? If she had known, she could have saved her whole village! Why did no one tell her? She was sure that The Teller (the village fortune teller) knew. But, she needed to stop worrying. So, Faith went on a walk through the woods. There she found an old hermit called Jennu-Jinik. “If you wish to pass you must choose between the ruby or the amethyst,” said the hermit. Faith thought only for a second, then pointed to the amethyst. The hermit handed her the stone then disappeared before her eyes. Faith kept walking, still searching for light.

Chapter 3, The Magic Wolf 

Faith soon found herself face to face with a shining golden wolf. It seemed to be happy to see her. Faith stroked it’s glowing fur. She remembered that when she was young her parents told her she was soon going to leave their village and pursue her dreams of being a great warrior. Now she had. This wolf was a sign, she would take it with her. Faith soon decided to name the wolf, it’s name was “Solis”. Sun in latin. For it’s areum coloured fur. They approached a Latin village “Salve! nomen mihi est fides.” she spoke. In the oppidum they spoke Latin. 

Chapter 4, Speaking Latin

Oppidum. It means village. She had reached a village. Solis was trotting happily in the warm sun. Golden fur gleaming, Faith knew how to speak Latin. Which was good because here they couldn’t speak english. She knew that Snow had not been able to speak Latin. But she quickly stopped thinking about that. Just the thought made her very upset. “ Ego paenitet, sed non mane. Ire debeo,” she said. “ Est okay” said an old medicine maid. She feasted on pulmentum, they were jovial in the bright springtime sun. The next morning Faith met a village girl about her age. She had white hair styled traditionally, she looked like an ice nymph. Like Faith was. “Tibi loqui anglicus, quod sic?” she said. “Yes”. “Oh good,” the girl said reluctantly, “my name is Rai. I am an ice nymph, like you,” Faith gasped. 

Chapter 5, Rai 

 Berganza nomen est puella de more patrum niuea implebunt domunculas luci. “Ego Konan Doil Rai,
Ego sum solus superstes. Non possum venire vobiscum.”  That was that. Faith would not bring Rai with her. She would go alone. Well not completely alone, she had Solis. She would always have Solis. They might as well have been sisters, they understood each other. But there was no way to tell where they would go from here.
