The higher classes had less people than the lower classes. Both Classes made a decision by majority vote. This assembly decided consuls and praetors.</div>]]></description>

         <title>The Senate</title>

They were known as "The Fathers of Rome" because they had been around before the republic. They were in charge of the money and choosing dictators. When the senate gave advice, people almost always followed it.</div>]]></description>
