1.      To protect my computer 

1.1.            I turned on a firewall

1.2.          I try to keep all software up to date.

1.3.           I used an antivirus software and keep it current   

1.4.          I tried to use a good password by well chosen and protected to my computer and all accounts.  

1.5.           When I will see a suspicious attachments or unusual links in message. 

I won’t open it. 

1.6.          In searching to information inside webs, I just opened web safely. 

 

2.     To protect my computer form viruses: 

2.1.          I installed an Antivirus. 

2.2.         Using back up, I try to store an important file in another place.

2.3.         Run a Virus Scan often. 

 

3.     To protect my accounts, form the hackers

3.1.           I try to create a strong password:  by using at least two or three different types of characters (lowercase, uppercase, digits and symbols), Another good method is to combine partial 2-4 unrelated words together and mix in other types of characters.

3.2.       Enable two-factor authentication: Many sites now offer two-factor authentication as a security measure. You log in with your username and password and are then asked to enter a validation code, usually sent by text message to your phone. In theory, this makes it more difficult for hackers to get in – even if they have your password, they would need the texted code. And this service used in some social media like Facebook. so, I used this service to my account.  

3.3.         Connect our accounts with cell phone, I connect my accounts with my cell phone because in sometimes maybe its reasons to protect our accounts and recovery It.
