This group is for dads and other male caregivers. You’ll meet with people who work with Flying Start as well as special guests. We will discuss things like:

A new group for parents and babies under 6 months old. In 6 sessions, you will learn how your baby communicates their likes and dislikes. We will use music, songs, movement, bubbles, and books to help connect with your baby and have some quality fun together. You’ll also meet other parents and carers.

Parents as Partners

In 16 sessions, this group will help you improve your relationship with your child’s other parent and manage stress. This will help your child’s wellbeing and success.

Looks at: family values, parenting on the same page. Parents can be together or separated but no DA or unstable mental health issues

Parents Plus Healthy Families

Over 8 sessions, this group covers topics that are important for modern family life. We’ll talk about routines, screen time, mealtimes, exercise, and sleep. We’ll give you tools to handle these topics in a positive and real way.

SPACE (Supporting Parents and Children Emotionally)

Over 6 sessions, this group will help you learn about your own stress and emotions. You’ll learn how to deal with your feelings and help your children with theirs. We’ll also talk about how to be strong and bounce back from challenges.

Parents Plus Parenting when Separated

Parenting after a break-up can feel hard and confusing.

This course will help you:

Solve problems calmly, putting your children first.
Understand your feelings and how staying calm helps your children.
Help your children deal with the changes.
Communicate more clearly with your children and their other parent

Both mothers and fathers, resident and non-resident parents are welcome to attend this course.
We will meet all parents for an individual introductory meeting prior to the group starting.

Please note each co-parent will be invited to a different group session so you will not complete the course together.
