So breathing is the physical process of getting the oxygen to your cells, using your lungs, trachea, bronchus, bronchioles, and alveoli. Respiration is the cellular chemical process of converting the oxygen and glucose into energy, water and CO2, which happens in your cells. So breathing gets your oxygen to your cells, and respiration makes it into energy.

Breathing is the physical process of inhaling and exhaling air through the organs (lungs) whereas Respiration is the cellular process that uses organals (mitochondria). Together they create energy which is a vital part in being able to perform the activities and tasks we face everyday. Glucose is brought in by the food and breathing brings in air. When added together it creates Carbon Dioxide, water, and energy. Without them collecting energy and staying aive would be impossible.
