         <description><![CDATA[<p><b><p>Students create a song list for the Odyssey. Standard students (in groups) would create a list of songs that connect with the themes contained in the passage given, and report out to the class why they chose those particular songs. &nbsp;Honors students (in groups) create the list of songs, as well as write a verse and chorus of an original song (or a parody of an existing song) that ties into the themes of the Odyssey.</p><br>The teacher would provide a few examples of songs to get the groups started.</b><br></p><p><b>Examples:&nbsp;</b></p><p><b>Land of the Ice and Snow, Led Zepplin</b></p><p><b>Calypso, Suzanne Vega</b></p>]]></description>
