The first survey will open on September 2 and close around October 15, depending on response rates. I will be working with OLi4 staff to figure out the best times for the winter and spring surveys--and communication about those will come directly from me to participants.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The idea is to anonymize the students. The data will be coming to WordFarmers, and we won't be sharing any personal details with anyone. However, the principals can make up initials or use a numeric code so long as they use the same code or initials for students on each of the three surveys. This is an approach we have used with other SDI Center data-collection efforts; and it's worked well. </p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <title>The state expects us to show student outcomes in the areas of literacy and math with attendance, behavior, and other areas as supporting pieces to academic outcomes. Therefore, should we be choosing students who we show academic growth with academic strategies?  Or can we choose students who have  non-academic needs? </title>
