This book is a mirror for me in my life in a few different ways. I have a few of those things as described in the book. Being someone of ADHD, asthma, dyslexia and in a wheel chair at one point in my life. I can relate to how those children feel and the different help they may need to have a successful life in and out of education. Being open and telling my peers of my health issues up front definitely helps and makes them little more understanding. It allows me to kind of beat them to the punch of what I may look and sound like while interacting. I make it known to just like the book if you notice or are curious then just ask I am more then happy to answer questions.

The book shows how there are so many different types of body and no matter what type of body someone would have they should accept themselves. This book is a mirror to my life because as a child I had my own insecurities with weight and body insecurities because of medications I would take to help with ADHD and the side affects my body would have.

Grace for President shows how a child will need to open up and how one needs to be an ambitious child. It is a window because it shows the difference in male or female candidate run. It opens up a window to show no matter what the best person for the job wins. Seeing the diversity and showing how different each gender is treated in history too. Females not as accomplished as males in a presidential campaign.

This book is a window, it shows how others are too be looked at and accepted. Whether they identify as female, male or they, them. It opens up the reality of some peers being in that population. Not feeling comfortable in their own skin and that they can not express their true selves. It opens up to a broader population and teaches children that we may all look alike but have different stories of who we are.

"I have a girl brain with a boy body, this is called transgender."

The important behind this line is that all are equal no matter how they identify themselves. One should be comfortable in their own skin and proud of who they are even if it may be different or not accepted yet by some. It shows that as friends we need to be there and accept no matter what they want to be identified as. In school some adults even did not know how to act and influence the students behaviors towards that individual.
