“Conscience”
 
I wept, I cried so hard. But this tears can’t bring back my sister to life. My being brought here by my conscience. I want to ask forgiveness. But can she still hear? O heart, forgive me for what I have done, please bring peace to mind.
 
Dry leaves were crushed down below. As if to freshen my memories that her life perished because of my selfishness.
 
She was my only sister. Since our childhood, I always believed that I was the favorite of our dad. One night, while I was facing all about to the mirror, with my micro mini, I puffed powder, when I saw Luisa’s face, reflecting in the mirror. "You can’t get out tonight, Lucille." I heard a threatening tone from her. I turned to her, but I can’t resist at her sharp stare at me. "And who says so, my dear sister?" "We are to celebrate Momma’s death anniversary, you know that don’t you?" In a relaxed and condescending voice, I replied "well I don’t care. I’m going out to party tonight!"
 
Then I heard a knock on the door. I shouted "Help Papa!" for I knew that it was he. I pulled my hair, I tore my dress away as I was attacked by a squad of monstrous creatures. When the door opened the site Papa saw was that Luisa was holding my neck who was trying to make a rescue. But I cried so hard that made Papa grew to the height of anger. He threw Luisa to the corner, where the head of my poor sister was hit at the edge of the chair.
 
I slowly rejoiced for I have made a successful revenge. But when she lifted, I saw a different sparkle in her tearful eyes. "Ha ha ha ha ha!" O my, Luisa, she went out of her mind. I was not able to move, as well as Papa. Both of us were motionless. And before we returned to our senses, Luisa ran to the door and proceeded to the open gate of our house. We followed her calling out her name. "Luisa!" "Sister!" "Luisa" "Sister" "Luisa the Truck!" "Don’t cross the road, Luisa, the truck don’t Don’t DON’T!"
 
The next sight I saw was that Luisa was thrown five meters away from the truck. I ran to her and embraced her. Blood was all over her face. In a low but distinct voice she murmured, that made my heart break so much. She said, "Lucille, please be a good girl. I love you. Please be a good girl ‘coz Papa loves you very much."
 
"Luisa? Luisa? Sister… sister!!!" From that moment I cried so hard for killing my only sister, who loved and cared for me, even at the last moment of her life.
 
Now can you blame me, for asking God to forgive me? Forgive me dear God, Forgive me!

 

Boom! blood, flesh, struggle and fear
 surrounding in the atmosphere
 if one is sulky, one is scorned
 if one is not a noble, one is a peasant
 there are crimes, abuses, hates and injustices
 and the only thing that rules the earth is immorality

Sshhh… silence,
 for the end may come
 voices are not made to speak the truth,
 but to shout and scream!
 eyes are not made to see the reality,
 but to hide the facts and cry, and weep
 and the hands are not made to reach out
 but to fight instead!
 This is not yet over
 this is chaos
 this is what we call
 WAR!!!

It was a day of in famine
 last September 11, 2001
 when an airplane crashed it’s way into human life!
 The United States of America’s
 World Trade Center
 Shattered! Boom!
 tranquility and harmony was lost
 roaming outsider, Boom!

Many lives were gone in just a blink of an eye
 mothers died, fathers vanished and brothers suffered
 leaving no more but distress
 and pieces of mind and soul
 Guess what the cause is?
 TERRORISM!!!
 brought by the power of this indespicable greed

This is the beginning of the 3 world war 

or this is the feature prophecy of Nostradamus

God forbid dough in this world 

where everyone is divided by one that separate east and west

 threw religion and all living creatures that exist comes from only one creator

TERRORISM, bloodshed, showering of bullets, 

bombs and missiles, biochemical weapons and DEATH!

The story of why many human beings 

who were victimize and sought for moral righteousness TERRORISM

Start walking on ice where being die 

in shivering cold and lose their lives get out of my life!

I was there! 3x

And shout!

Will there be end? End? 5x

Flesh and rage hunting in the street of US. UK. Afghanistan, and now IRAQ

Listen! And you will hear a cry of trouble of our fate

so now! Eliminate all your senses talk 

and you will not be heard for your rights are separate from the other turf!

Behold for the riches of life were broken because we are dreamers!

Stop! This of hatred, hatred and hatred!

You who did cause for the voice the youth

Youth who had the right to behold for the unity 

and progress for the future year

Its time o wake up! Its time to do something,

 and the clock is ticking

And the time will be over and then

Selfishness

Hate

Injustice

Pride

War

Kindness

Respect

Love

And at last

Peace

It is peace and wisdom we want like a steel pad that serve us on its step

Leaving on its promise land may that be all?

It needs to embrace the true virtue of peace. Love!

Soldier may march towards the war guns may kill millions of men homes

May be called in danger

But one thing is for sure!

This is not the end

There is hope

We, the youth lays here and wakes up in the advent of war process.

Save our future, join hands together for what we want

PEACE NOT WAR!

 

2. There is only one contest piece to be presented.
-Primary level piece- Don't Quit

 

3. Contestants should wear a proper uniform during the contest.

 

4. Musical Background can be used during the contest.

 

5. Criteria for Judging are as follows:

    Mastery of the piece         15 %

    Delivery                              35 %

    Interpretation                    35 %

    Stage Presence                 15 %

                       TOTAL             100 %

6. The judge’s decision is final and irrevocable.

            -Primary level category (Grade 1-3)

            -Intermediate level category (Grade 4-6)

2. Each class from Grades 1-3 & Grades 4-6 will send one representative to the contest. 

3. During the contest proper, each contestant shall be given 10 minutes to deliver the piece.

4. There is only one contest piece to be presented.

            -Primary level piece- ‘Am I To Be Blamed’

            -Intermediate level piece- ‘Conscience’

5. The contestants shall be evaluated using the following criteria.

Overall interpretation                                             40 %

(voice, facial expression, gesture, and movements)

Pronunciation, Intonation, and Fluency                 30 %

Mastery of the Piece                                              15 %

Audience Impact and Stage Presence                  15 %

                                                        TOTAL             100 %

6. The decision of the panel of judges is final and irrevocable.
