MEET MORE FOREIGNERS, TRAVEL! A MEETING “YOU ARE NOT ALONE!” AT SCHOOL. We met the family from Ukraine which came to Poland because of a difficult and dangerous situation in their country. Members of the family are immigrants and have many valuable observations of problems which are common in many countries in Europe nowadays. Also, we met a boy who often travels to the USA and knows a lot about the mixture of American culture called "melting pot". We learnt tolerance to other people and their cultures and developed intercultural understanding. In the photo, Jurij from Ukraine is writing a dedication to students from Erasmus+ Club in the album "European Challenges".

It was a good chance for all participants to work together and build intercultural dialogue. It is especially important because there are many immigrants from Eastern Europe in Poland and we want to build cultural bridges between the nations to live in peace in the future. Now, students are more open and understanding, they are eager to help foreingers and don't afraid to communicate with them.

MEETING WITH A TRAVELLER FROM INDIA English speaking Indiaman came to Polish school and presented his country, India. His presentation was very fascinating because India is very exotic for all of us. The traveller described many traditions connected with religions and celebrations. Also, talked about popular Indian food and way of dressing up. He was assisted by his wife. We could get not only knowledge but also intercultural competences, broke stereotypes, tackled fear to people from different countries and other continents. It was a real lesson of tolerance. Our guests talked with students about different religions and Islamic traditions. Moreover, students provided an interview with our guest from India in English.

MEETING WITH A TRAVELLER FROM NORTH AMERICA Polish team organized a meeting with a mother of our student. She lived in the United States with her family for many years. It was an interesting story illustrated by photo presentations, albums, real souvenirs from Chicago and Florida. Students asked many questions because they wanted to know more about that country associated with a diversity of people and their cultures. They learnt a lot and got intercultural competences.

There is a poster and many hand making cards by children. Grandmothers and grandfathers who came to our school to celebrate the holiday got them from their grandchildren. It was a special day for three generations: children, their parents and grandparents. We are sure that it is worth celebrating together.

We created a common padlet where all partners have added their propositions for organising the international party. There are some descriptions of popular dishes and recipes, so you can cook them. Also, there are many interesting materials created by project partners, for example, presentations, descriptions, photos, recipes, movies, relations and pieces of music. Enjoy the party and become more open and understanding to other cultures and traditions!

PLAY TOGETHER! A language and culture workshop for students provided by a Polish-British family. It was an excellent possibility not only to learn English from a native speaker but also to recognize many cultural elements and learn intercultural understanding. Students could play, dance, sing and spend a good time with the family. It was also a chance to ask many questions connected with their life in Britain in the past and in Poland now. It was a real English lesson. Also, we provided an interview with the Englishman.

CREATING EDUCATIONAL BOARD GAMES BY CHILDREN Students worked in groups and make games by themselves. They should plan their work, divide responsibilities between themselves. Thanks to that, they achieved the aim and create interesting games which can be also used by other pupils to learn social competences.

A GAME ABOUT EUROPEAN CULTURE A participant of the project created a game using Scratch programme. It is a valuable tool to teach knowledge about partners’ countries. Players can get a lot of information about geography and culture of these countries. It is publish, so it can be used by everyone who wants to learn more.

CREATING A PLAYBUZZ GAME „EXPLORE POLISH CULTURE” It is a game for all students from different countries who want to increase knowledge about Polish culture. CREATING A common QUIZ “SPEAK EUROPEAN LANGUAGES” Pupils and other people can test their foreign language knowledge. You can practice using partners’ languages in usual situations (some basic words and expressions). Thanks to it you can develop your skills and become tolerant to other languages.

PLAY WITH US! It was a great time for integration and collaboration between students. Participations of the project from a lower secondary school prepared a show game for younger pupils from a primary school. It was a contest provided in an attractive way. It was a chance to increase students’ knowledge about history, geography, art and famous people of project partners’ countries. The game was created by participants of the project and it is useful for many students and teachers.

MAKE FRIENDS ABROAD! All project participants write letters, e-mails, cards, e-cards and send them to project partners. We enjoy getting answers and keeping in touch with other young people. Thanks to that we built possitive and peaceful relations with other young people from different countries. Now, we are friends!

AN EUROPEAN QUIZ It was a good fun and also a piece of learning for young people divided into groups. They took part in the contest, answered questions and scored points. There were many questions connected with history, geography and culture of partners’ countries. It was a good job which increased students’ knowledge and intercultural competences. Moreover, pupils learnt tolerance to other nations, their history, cultures, languages and traditions. Participants have promoted the Erasmus+ Programme and the project using the logo on materials and T-shirts.

PROJECT WORK - TEACHING AND LEARNING TOLERANCE IN THE INTERNATIONAL DIALOGUE INSTITUTE IN CRACOW During the workshop students learnt how to live in peace in Europe and have positive and tolerant attitude to other cultures and religions. Also, humanism and intercultural understanding. Students watched presentations, short movies, played and talked about tolerance to other people. Working together, young people learnt how to support international dialogue and live in peace. It enhanced the idea of peaceful understanding among people.

EVALUATION OF THE PROJECT All these acivities are evaluated regularly by students and teachers. We use different ways to provide it, for example, questionnaires, a verb and visual evaluation to assess the activities and change negative aspects, also assess the impact on other people. Three common questionnaires were provided at all partner schools at the beginning and at the end of the project. Also, we analyzed the results of them and discussed during the project meetings.

There is a simple jigsaw puzzle containing cultural elements created for children. Thanks to many created puzzles, we can learn more about cultural diversity and create positive attitude to other cultures. Play and have fun!

EXPLORE EUROPEAN CULTURE - PERFORMANCES, DANCE WORKSHOPS, PRESENTATIONS, GAMES, CITY GAMES, COOKING WORKSHOPS, EXHIBITIONS, CONTESTS, THEATRE PERFORMANCES. They were real lessons of history, geography and literature (culture). After the performances we provided a workshop and a discussion about European culture heritage. Students studied elements of Polish culture and found differences and similarities between other European cultures. Also, they developed their personality and became more open and self-confident. Pupils learnt intercultural understanding and tolerance to other cultures.

The guide contains Activity Plans based on these activities which were provided by partners' schools during implementation of the project.
The English Workbook contains language tasks aimed in teaching students vocabluary and communication using cultural elements.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES
There are some examples of project activities which were provided at partner schools. They are aimed in teaching and learning social and intercultural competences to understand better other people and build intercultural dialogue. The actions promote inclusive education and an aspect of teaching tolerance to other people, cultures, religions, ways of behaviour and thinking.

During the meeting in Portugal we met many new people from abroad especially from the host country. We found out a lot of information about history of Portugal but also learnt intercultural competences which are essential in the project. We were fascinated by dances, popular songs, elements of performance prepared by students and teachers. We learnt a lot about a real life in a small village where the partner school is situated and in a big city like Porto which we visited. We obviously tasted codfish in many dishes and listened to Portuguese music. All group got familiar with Portuguese school system and observed some methods of teaching students with special needs. We were under impression of the school which is very spacious and light.

MEETING AND WORKING WITH IMMIGRANT STUDENTS

Participants from all project countries met immigrant students in Spain and learnt a lot of about their cultures (music, traditional and modern dances, food, celebrations, religions, traditions, languages, art). They also did project activities and travelled together. It was a chance to overcome prejudice, show empathy to others, change the attitude towards refugee students, make the process of adaptation easier and show them ways to live in the new society. Also, young people from different European countries could develop tolerance and promote peace. Participants supported the idea of equality, humanism and intercultural understanding among people from different countries, cultures and religions.

Polish partocipants of the project disseminate the results of the project at their school and in other scools and institutions. Also, they provided workshops in The State Orphanage and in The Social Welfare Home taking active part in "The Day of Fulfilled Dreams" at the regional level. Furthermore, students took part in a public outside parade through the steets of the city. They have promoted the idea of the project - equality, intercultural dialogue and tolerance to other people.

Doing the project, we created several common products which are very useful for all partners and for other people who are interested in the topic.
There is a common six languages mini dictionary containing basic vocabluary. It is very useful for beginners and can encourage young people to start learning foreign languages. Furthermore, students overcome prejudice to other nations and their languages and enhance intercultural dialogue. It has Free Licences and is publicated on Erasmus+ Project Results Platform.

Italian students made a Christmas tree decorations based on human rights and learnt about refugees' crisis in Europe directly from foreingers and immigrants. Also, they sent humanitarian support to other countries which need help. As the result, pupils learnt critical thinking and develop intercultural understanding. They promote humanism and tolerance to other nations and their cultures.

Polish students and teachers provided workshops for other pupils from different schools about tolerance and intercultural dialogue. We organize many charity events to help people who are in need. We took part in the action "Family to Family" to help victims of the war in Syria by sending SMS in order to support people from Aleppo. Also, in other charity events which are organised by schools or other institutions to help people from African countries and from East Ukraine. We believe that it is possible to widly promote humanism and the idea of intercultural understanding to other nations because people should live in PEACE.
