What caused the Montgomery bus boycott was when an African American woman named Rosa Parks refused to give a sit-up to a white man and she was arrested and fined for her actions.   

The Montgomery bus boycott is important to the civil rights movement because it shows that African Americans are treated unfairly and not like people that have the same rights as the rest of us have or the same treated me as we do.

What caused Bloody Sunday was when the African Americans were marching to talk to the president to get the right to vote but instead they got attacked by the kkk and were beaten with a stick and other things.


The bloody Sunday event is important to the civil war because it shows that we don't treat African Americans like people and we don't give them the same rights as we have.
