It's our choice, so i'm like 50/50. But even helping a little could help future generations. In the future i would love to be a doctor or maybe even a sports coach. In girl scouts sometimes we work on projects to raise money, awareness, or even food for certain companies/charities. I remember one time we did a project for Tabitha's Table and we donated tons of food. Right now in girl scouts, my group is learning about women empowerment, and so we brought in women we know and asked them question so we can learn more about these types of things (Women, in this case) We learn about all sorts of things though, like raising awareness for problems, and helping our world grow, not just by donating to charities, or learning about people in our world, but by doing all kinds of things, as a group. We help with global goals such as, gender equality (5), No poverty (1), Zero Hunger (2) Life on Land (15), Sustainable cities and communities (11), and probably more too! I like to help improve and work on our global goals, by being in girl scouts. I think this is a very good opportunity to make the world a better place, and help our global goals. I believe this because if no one else knows about them, who will help? We have the privilege to learn about this, and if you talked to someone else about this, they would have no clue what you are talking about. Since we get to learn while others don't, the least we can do is tell people about how to help and how it works. If you don't want to try, there is always someone out there who will, but can't. You can even work a normal job that is partnered with the goals, or just a job that helps the community. We are given the right to help others in need, but many people ignore the privilege that they have and ignore the problems of the world.
Ways that you can help;
Getting a small job like an electrician even helps with things like energy (7). Being a business that provides food to people like a store can even make sustainable cities and communities (11).  
You can sign up for volunteering for free, and can really affect the community and you.
If you just write an article about how things affect our community, and how to solve them, it can make a huge difference on people and their motivations.
So yes, I believe us as magnet students should spread the word, we are socially responsible for the SDGs and our community, and we should pitch in to help the community and save the world, because there is no planet B.

Goal 1,2, and 3 can be solved by doing this. It just takes time and effort. We are also starting a care program for the kids that cannot go home in the afternoon right after school. We also do this at our church. My church also does mission trips that go to Vietnam and we help those there. This can go towards goals 3 and 4. We sometimes just go to Baltimore and help those there and feed them. This goes towards goals 1,2, and 3. Sometimes even the smallest things can do a lot. Every spring for soccer we do a fundraiser for Aiden Matthew who shot himself on his doorstep. It's a four v four type thing and there are food trucks there. Everyone gets a special shirt and It's really fun.

In conclusion, we are only partly socially responsible, but If the time is right, we need to step in and join the fight for equality.
