         <title>Tuberculosis </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Also called TB, is a potentially serious infectious disease that mainly affects the lungs. The bacteria that cause tuberculosis are spread from one person to another through tiny droplets released into the air via coughs and sneezes.  Signs and symptoms of the disease are a cough, chest pain, loss of appetite, fever, chills, and night sweats.  Treatments for TB are medications that include isoniazid, rigampin, and many more. To help prevent TB, it helps to have good hygiene. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Atelectasis is the collapse part or all of the lung.  It may be caused by blockage of the air passages or by injury. Symptoms include severe pain and shortness of breath. Treatment involves correcting the cause of the collapse and using pulmonary suction to reinflate the lung. To prevent yourself from getting atelectasis, it is a good idea to not smoke.</div>]]></description>

Symptoms include sudden tightness of the chest and difficulty breathing along with wheezing and coughing. Treatments include anti-inflammatory drugs and oxygen therapy. To prevent future attacks,  it is important either to avoid or build up resistance to the related allergens</div>]]></description>

To become a thoracic surgeon  you have to obtain a 4- year undergraduate degree in pre-med with an emphasis on science, then you have to graduate from a 4-year medical school, then complete a 5-year general surgery residency program. </div>]]></description>
