The Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory suggests that people are motivated by a progression of needs, starting from basic survival needs like food and safety, moving up to social belonging, esteem, and finally self-actualization and self-transcendence.

The Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory states that motivation is influenced by hygiene and motivational factors

pay and job security which prevent dissatisfaction

achievement and recognition which create satisfaction.

McClelland’s Theory of Needs recognizes three driving forces

achievement

affiliation

power

Each motivates individuals differently depending on their personal goals.

Lastly,Vroom's Expectancy Theory explains motivation as a process. People act based on expected outcomes believing their effort will lead to good performance, which in turn brings desirable rewards.

Maslow’s Theory relates to my life because I recognize how my motivation grows as I meet each of my needs. When my basic needs such as food, shelter, and safety are met. I can focus more on building relationships, improving my self-confidence, and striving for personal growth. This helps me understand that my drive to achieve and bettering myself comes from completing these goals toward self-actualization and self-transcendence.

Herzberg’s Theory can increase my motivation by helping me focus on the factors that truly bring satisfaction, such as recognition, achievement, and opportunities for growth, while also ensuring that basic conditions like fair pay and job security are met to prevent dissatisfaction.

Vroom’s Theory can help me by showing that my effort leads to results I value. When I see that working hard to improve my performance and bring meaningful rewards. Feeling more motivated to focus and achieve my goals helps me understand what drives me and how to stay motivated in my work Reminding me that my effort will pay off when I believe in myself.

Together, these theories encourage me to work harder when I know my needs are supported and my efforts will produce real results and reward my efforts. This is exceptional for me to utilize when creating and composing art work for those who are in need of mental recovery and to accommodate industries that utilize art to personalize ones endeavors.

.

Personal motivation, is the internal and external drive that energizes and directs our pursuit of goals, shaping our choices and actions. It allows us to overcome challenges and achieve post and long-term goals.

Two main types:

Intrinsic Motivation

Motivation increases and decreases, substantially influenced by our surroundings, social interactions, personal beliefs, and behaviors.

Extrinsic Motivation

Rewards or consequences that motivate your behavior, coming from outside yourself.

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs:

Self-actualization and Self-transcendence is the fulfillment of meeting our basic needs first and then wanting to achieve immensely towards feeling loved and belonging. Prioritizing ourselves too overcome and excel in the goals set. This allows growth and motivation in knowing you can reward yourself through your efforts.

Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory: "hygiene factors" Dissatisfaction of not being motivated or enthusiastic with.

Finding a clear solution to a complex problem through humanistic intellectual perception while composing visual mental designs from scratch or personal branding can be very satisfying. The process of visualizing ones past, current, or long -term state, promotes releasement to allow room for growth or achievement to promote healthy behaviors, giving a working graphic result that can be incredibly rewarding to yourself and others . This aligns with McClelland's need for achievement, as it involves being driven by the challenge and the accomplishment. It also aligns with Herzberg's motivator of "the work itself" and the desire for growth because new skills are learned and developed in the process. The feeling of making something tangible can be a powerful motivator in composition of textiles, infrastructures, and mechanisms.

Behavioral theory, or behaviorism, is a way of understanding why people act the way they do by focusing only on what can be seen and measured by actions. Instead of looking at thoughts, feelings, or internal motivations, behaviorism suggests that all behaviors are learned through interactions with the environment. For instance: if you get rewarded for doing something, you're more likely to do it again (this is called reinforcement), while if you get punished for something, you're less likely to repeat that action.

Classical Conditioning:

classical conditioning is just your brain making connections between things in your environment, and then automatically reacting to one as if it were the other.

Operant Conditioning:

how we learn through trial and error, based on the consequences of our actions.
