Comfort Food – Gabriel D’Angelo 201
What Is Comfort Food?
Comfort food is na aliment, a dessert, something that you ate on the lunch or
on the dinner, can be any food, from the more simple to the more complicated
plates do prepare, can be bought or prepared, just need to be something that
brings you joy, comfort, happy, you feel it like a hug when you eat it, can be an
personal thing, or an family or cultural receipt. Isn’t just about the taste, is more
about the meaning of it. Usually makes our bodies make serotonin.

What Is My Idea Of Comfort Food?
For me, comfort food is like eating something while looking at the horizon, but
you only feel that way when it's THAT specific food, and you can't explain
exactly why, as if for a few moments while you're eating, you're on your own
personal heaven, brings you memories and sensations as warm as a hug.
For example, açaí always reminds me of happy moments with the most special
person in my life, my sister, we always have the tradition of ordering açaí in the
same place, and with the same complements, and we watch some series or
movie meanwhile, almost like a sacred ritual for us.
