I go skiing in colorado about every winter, i've skied for 4 years now. We go to vail, breckenridge, and powderhorn, (going to telluride soon.) The reason I say skiing isn't for everyone is that if you're scared of heights you will not be able to even get on the lift. If you don't have good balance you will fall.

Skiing is an intense sport and hobby, with all the trees and icy snow it's really easy to get hurt, I've only gotten a minor knee injury from skiing and that's it but other people aren't so lucky. If you get trapped in an avalanche well you're screwed.

They are upwards of $1,000's
