         <description><![CDATA[<div>I still have my question from the "neuroscience of dyslexia" section: <br>I am still confused about how dyslexia is not an issue with vision, but a phonological processing disorder. In the exercises we've done to simulate what it's like to read with dyslexia, they were based on what we see.<br><br>Is it possible to be able to see the letters/words as they are, but the challenge for someone is with the phonetics? Is orthographic dyslexia a misnomer, where students have a strong grasp of phonics and phonemic awareness but still struggle with reading, writing, &amp; spelling?</div>]]></description>
