Gone with the Wind is a novel written by American writer Margaret Mitchell. It won the Pulitzer Prize in 1937.

The novel describes the southern way of life before and after the Civil War in Atlanta and a nearby plantation. Throughout the work, we see images which are typical of southerners in that era, of which Scarlett and Rhett are fine examples. As described in the story of Scarlett and Rhett's love, the customs, manners, spiritual concepts, and political attitudes of people of that era are successfully conveyed.

The Moon and Sixpence is a 1919 English novel written by William Somerset Maugham.

Based on the life of the French impressionist painter Paul Gauguin, this work depicts a London stock broker who suddenly gets obsessed with art. He abandons his wife and child and even his happy and prosperous life to go to the south Pacific Island of Tahiti, where he uses brush to paint the picture of his life, and this is one of those stories that puts all the great things in life into one beautiful canvas. There is no concern for the entwined entanglements of poverty and disease.

In this work, the author shows the contradictions between genius, personality, and materialism, as well as modern marriage and family life. It carries out a sharp anatomy of human nature wrapped in skin with a scalpel that smells of disinfectant, and has a broad perspective on life. It is humorous and cruel at the same time.

This book is the masterpiece of Svetlana Alexandravna Alexievich. On April 26, 1986, the worst reactor accident in history occurred at Chernobyl. It was one of the greatest tragedies of all time.

The author interviewed hundreds of people affected by the Chernobyl disaster: innocent residents, firefighters, and those recruited to clean up the disaster site. Their stories reveal the fear, anger and insecurity they still live with today. The book presents these interviews as monologues, with such detail and realism that the tragedy reads like an apocalyptic fairy tale. People speak frankly of their pain, and the delicate monologues are both immersive and unbearable.

Out his window, in the cold moonlight, he sees the snowman that inexplicably appeared in the yard earlier in the day. As his investigation deepens, something else emerges: he is becoming a pawn in an increasingly terrifying game whose rules are devised—and constantly revised—by the killer.

This is the best crime book I´ve read and it is highly recommended. They include the following novels: My Brilliant Friend (2012), The Story of a New Name (2013), Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay (2014), and The Story of the Lost Child (2015). The series has been characterized as a bildungsroman, or coming-of-age story. In an interview for the Harper's Magazine, Elena Ferrante stated that she considers the four books to be "a single novel", published serially for reasons of length and duration. The series has sold over 10 million copies in 40 countries.
The series follows the lives of two perceptive and intelligent girls, Elena (sometimes called "Lenù") Greco and Raffaella ("Lila") Cerullo, from childhood to adulthood and old age, as they try to create lives for themselves amidst the violent and stultifying culture of their home – a poor neighborhood on the outskirts of Naples, Italy. The novels are narrated by Elena Greco.
