Gary McKinnon is a Scottish hacker who was accused of carrying out the "biggest military computer hack of all time,". McKinnon himself states that he was merely looking for evidence of UFO potentially useful to the public. Many Appeals were made as Gary McKinnon suffering from asperger’s syndrome which meant Gary would not have been able to control his actions aswell  as others and that he could be easily manipulated.

In January 2011, Crosskey gained unauthorised access to the Facebook account. The breach was reported to the FBI who traced the source back to the UK.
