Now a to identify the atom is just looking at how much subatomic particles  that atom has in the nucleus, in this case nitrogen has 14, so nitrogens atomic number is 14. This atoms nucleus holds 7 protons and 7 neutrons. Nitrogen atomic mass is 14.007. It contains 2 subatomic particles in the first shell. And the outer shell contains 5. There are two types of electric charges, 1 : protons (positive) 2 : electrons (negative).</div>]]></description>
