Knowing how to deal with a friend who is a humblebragger on social media will make your life happier. First of all, be cool about the humblebrags. You probably thought later that you shouldn't have even read the posts in the first place. But oftentimes, you can't avoid reading your friend's posts. In fact, you may be curious about what the humblebrag is about. Second, talk to your friend nicely if his/her humblebragging is getting too much. For example, you can talk to her when he/she is in a good mood, or when you are hanging out together in your favorite coffee shop.

Knowing how to deal with a social media bully will make you feel better. First of all, stop communicating with the bully by blocking his email address and deleting him from your social media contacts. You might later think, "I should have been more selective when adding someone on social media." However, it’s often hard to anticipate someone’s behavior when you first connect. Sometimes, you might hesitate to block or delete them because you don’t want to appear rude or escalate the situation. But remember, your peace of mind is more important. For example, if someone consistently sends rude messages or makes hurtful comments on your posts, take action by using the block button immediately or reporting their account to the platform. Second, talk to someone you know who can help you. Dealing with a bully on social media can also be easier if you talk to someone you know who can help you. You might regret not handling the situation better, thinking you should have ignored the bully or talked calmly instead of reacting emotionally. However, in the moment, it’s understandable to feel overwhelmed or unsure about what to do. In fact, sometimes you might avoid reaching out for help because you feel embarrassed or think you should handle the problem on your own. But sharing your experience can provide valuable perspective and support. For example, you can talk to your close friend who knows how to give good advice or to your parents, who can offer guidance and help you decide the best course of action.
