These nutrient needs will be the same throughout the age of 50. </li><li>Adults over 50 will need more calcium and vitamin D than they would in their 20's-40's. Adults older than 50 also need more vitamin B12 because their bodies can have trouble absorbing this nutrient. </li><li>***Adults over the age of 50 also need to watch their sodium intake.
