Expose students to different cultures and religious groups in society. </strong><br><br>This can be done through the following activities:</div><ul><li><strong><em>'Dress Up day'</em></strong> - Students will be allowed to dress appropriately for a particular holiday/ celebration. Examples: Emancipation Day and&nbsp; Indian Arrival Day. and give an oral presentation on the day and their outfit.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li><strong><em>Concert Series </em></strong>- Students will sing, recite or perform a dramatic piece to represent a particular culture/ religion.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li><strong><em>Group Research Project </em></strong>- The teacher places students into groups and allows students to research a particular ethnic group/ religion to present to the class.</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Geographical Awareness</strong><br><br>This can be done through the following activities:</div><ul><li><strong><em>'Around the town bus ride'</em></strong> - Students will be taken on a field trip in and around the school's community and will be shown different physical characteristics, such as streets, buildings, and other landmarks. Students will then be allowed to draw a map of their school community.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li><strong><em>Virtual Field Trip</em></strong>- Students will be taken on virtual field trips to see the geographical aspect of their country. Such as Mud volcanoes, The Magnificent Seven, The Caroni Swamp, Beaches such as Maracas, Store Bay, Toco, Pigeon Point, Manzanilla, Temple in The Sea, Bamboo Cathedral, the Buuccoo Reef, various forts, and other sites.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li><strong><em>Map Work </em></strong>- Students will be exposed to the map of the Caribbean to locate and identify their country and other Caribbean islands. Additionally, students will become acquainted with the map of Trinidad and Tobago. Students will be able to find and name places on the map.</li></ul>]]></description>

Students will discuss their decision-making process with classmates and identify different ways in which situations can be handled.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

His parents have threatened to pull him out of the soccer team if he doesn't improve. John knows that the girl who sits beside him always gets 100 percent on her tests, and he is considering peeking at her paper during the next test so that he can continue to play soccer.</em></strong> <br><br><em>Discussions will allow students to view all perspectives, such as the school's cheating policy, that this is unfair to the girl who studied, and how John might be hurting himself in the process of cheating.<br><br></em><br></div>]]></description>
