A hero can be a mythological figure, a person who is admired for his or her achievements, a superhero or maybe a role model or an icon.

Originally Thanksgiving celebrate the help provided by Indians to the pilgrim. It is the landing of the pilgrims of the colony of Plymouth who wants to escape from the governement (the curch). They settled on the lands of the Wampanoags. Winter was rude and the Indians help them. 

On the first painting we can see that Thankgsgiving is to share with each other, Indians, animals, kids (for example food), even if they are different. There are a spirit of sharing.

But, the 3 other documents shows a very different point of view of Thanksgiving. On "Freedom from want" by Norman Rockwell there are the theme of sharing food, but one people can not participate : the maid. She has to serve people wich wear conventional clothes. The idea of sharing together has disappeard. 

Then, on the drawing of Bill Schorr for the Caggle Post we can see an Indian. He's alone at the table. The Indian does not have to eat because all the people have eaten and went away. There is no more generosity and solidarity.

Finally the cartoon, represent the history of Thankgsgiving differently. The Indians build a wall on the beach and the pilgrims are rejected because of "to many of us enter illegally and won't learn they language or assimilate into their culture. It's represent the world today, because Indians lose the control of their lands and the colonizers take the control. Today Indians are not respected or lives in poverty.

To conclude, years after years the traditions has changed and the idea of sharing together has disappeared, replace by a "family's celebration". Thankgsgiving became mor commercial and the place of the Indians in Thankgsgiving has disapeared.
