Q1. Erosion is the process in which wind and water carry away rocks
Q2. Deposition is the depositing of sediments.
Q3. A destructive wave is a wave that had a stronger backwash then its swash. This means it can break apart the coast easier and takes more than it deposits.
Q4. Some rocks erode faster than others because they are weaker then others. A sedimentary rock will erode faster because it is originally many little sediments put together by cementation.
Q5. The 12 apostles are eventually going to all collapse. Already some of them have fallen however eventually the structures fortifications will erode and the rock will fall.
Q6. Groins are used to protect the coast from destructive waves. Groins stop the waves full force and are able to stop the constant erosion effect.
Q7.In the image below you can see a bay which has formed from the weaker rocks eroding away. You can also see an arch and behind the arch a stack. This coast also has a small cliff face which is caused from destructive waves.

Q7. In the Picture below you can see a Stack standing alone by itself. You can also see an Arch which it facing towards us. You can see a Cliff at the very far end of the image and a Headland is also at the very end of the image as well, it pokes out. There is also a Bridge that is on top of the arch.

1) Erosion is a form of chemical weathering, breaking down rocks into much finer pieces rather than taking off chunks of rocks like many forms of weathering.

3) A destructive wave is a wave that comes from a stormy ocean, traveling kilometres whilst gaining energy and speed until it finally crashing against the shoreline and/or rocks, forming coastal landforms.
