         <description><![CDATA[<div>You could easily make these yourself using construction paper, popsicle/craft sticks, a marker, and some clip art or stickers.<br>Not only would children get letter recognition out of matching the popsicle pieces together, they would also get the beginning letter sounds from the clip art pictures or stickers.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Building Words</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This activity is easily made using a roll of butcher paper, painters tape, a marker, and post it notes. <br>Write out the name or word that you want the child to spell on one piece of paper. Then , roll out some paper and write it multiple times, leaving out more and more letters. At the bottom of the long paper, have a post it note for each missing letter to match up with the blank spaces.<br>This can be used to learn spelling lists, consonant and vowel sounds, rhyming sounds, and word families.</div>]]></description>
