I said simple things and put my honest opinion of how she should get out of this friendship since it was a really unhealthy relationship, this really impacted her and made her choose the decision of leaving her friends which she then said was the greatest thing she ever did.  

How is this related to my theme?
This is related to my theme because it shows how simple words can impact a person's life significantly. I was devastated and was really down for a period of time. My parents acknowledged it and tried to make me feel better, they would say simple things like "You did your best" or " Important thing is you can learn from it", those words really helped me through that state.
