Fractions are everywhere. For example right here this is a burger cut in half. fractions are important in my house because i have three siblings. So everything is divided into fourths . When i get a chocolate bar it has 8 squares so we halve it and halve it again so we each get 2 eights or 2 squares.

Fractions are used in many ways. People use it for amounts every person gets when they split something, like a pizza or cake. Another big use for fractions is when a number is in between like shoe sizes or heights. For example, there are 20 cookies and 17 kids. Everybody can get 1 cookie and about 1/10 of a cookie.

Very specifically, every person would get 1.1764058824 or 1 and 1764058824/10000000000

I have a Hershey's bar and it has 12 pieces and I give 6 to my friends, now I have 6/12 which is half of 12 so its also known as 1/2, I have 1/2 of a Hershey's bar for myself.

Fraction can be all around you. You use fractions to measure, with money, to cut cake, pizza, pie etc. I use fractions when I eat pizza with my family and much more. Fractions can be split differently, though - In squares, in rectangles, in circles etc. Fractions are never whole number and they always have a numerator and a denominator.

Fractions are used in daily life in many ways, and sometimes you might not even notice.

Fractions are used many times while trying to share something equally, something like food or money. Sharing equally is very important, which is why fractions are very important as well. If we did not have fractions, sharing things would become much more difficult, and many could complain that they did not get their fair share.

Fractions can be used for making percentages easier to understand, which could be useful for making sure someone else could understand you. An example of turning a decimal to a fraction could be turning .33 into 1/3, which is much more simple, and if you read it out it sounds a lot better. Because fractions are good for turning decimals into something simple, many people use fractions for dividing/counting money or time. Many people say 1/2 past 3, which is 3:30, which is an example of how it can be used for time. If you split money evenly between yourselves and your friends, you could say something like this,"each one of us gets 1/3 of the money".

Fractions are all over. I use them to split things into pieces, like cutting a cake into pieces like in this photo. I also see (and use) fractions when I use money, when I am using time, and I use them a LOT when I am cooking. They are in measuring cups and in things like tablespoons. Fractions are used to split things evenly. Me and my little brother get a fair share of everything, we both get the same amount of sweets, and other things. When we get something, for example pizza, we split it into slices so I get a fair amount. Pizza is usually 6 slices, so I get 1/6 and my brother gets 1/6. Together we ate 2/6 of the pizza. If there is more than one person then each person will get the same amount and that would be using fractions. I am always using fractions!

Fractions are everywhere. For example, these are my anime dolls. There are 3/3. If i would take away 2 it would be 1/3 if i took away 1 it would be 2/3. Fractions can be used in all the things possible.Pizza,cakes,pillows,drawing,etc...

Fractions always have a numerator and denominator and can be split in different ways. For example squares, diamonds,or rectangles. If you would have to split the anime dolls into 2 for 2 people it would be fiscally unable to split but mathematically you would get 1.50/3 because you would split the middle so each will get 1 doll and a half.

Fractions are an Important part of math that you see in your everyday life. For example, you're cutting a pizza into 8 equal pieces. that's a fraction. Or, you're giving a cashier 3 dollars and 25 cents. that's a fraction. Or, you're measuring the height of an orange (I don't know why you would do that but whatever) and it's 90 millimeters. that's 9 centimeters. that's a fraction.

Fractions can be found everywhere if you look. Most likely you'll see a few every day! For example, fractions in cooking. You must put a certain amount of sugar in a recipe like pancakes. You would use these measuring cups. Each measuring cup is a fraction of a whole cup, or a whole cup itself. Pancakes call for 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 3/4 cups of milk.

Fractions are in some of our most everyday items. Like a pizza or a chocolate bar. Fractions are parts of a whole object such as a square or circle. For example, a Hershey's chocolate bar. They separate the whole into squares so you can easily break them apart and eat that chocolate goodness. I use fractions for that and pizza.
