Dear Emma Watson,
Hi it has been a long time since i wrote to you. How have you been these days? Did you celebrate Chinese New Year🐖? Are your lungs doing okay?

This Chinese New Year there was a celebration in school. The celebration started early in the morning🌞 until 11:30am. Everyone wore either traditional chinese costumes or red shirts that symbolizes luck in chinese culture. For me, the Junior College dance performance was the most memorable of them all. 

For the celebration my grade (secondary 2) prepared a special performance dedicated to our parents. After our performance, there was an entertaining lion dance that the primary especially enjoyed.👍 When the students were performing, the parent support group were selling flavourful dumplings and some chinese xiao long bao in the foyer.😋

It was a wonderful celebration as we get to experience the exquisite chinese culture.👲
I hope we can meet very soon.

Hi Caren, How are you? It’s been a while since we met up, we should do it soon. It was Chinese New Years yesterday. How was your Chinese New Years? 

I spent mine with my family and had a great time. I also spent time with cousins that I haven’t seen for a long time and I really missed them, it was fun while it lasted but it was also kinda boring since we didn’t have much to catch up on since we text each other daily. But it was still nice to see them in person again. 

I spent the day playing card games and a traditional chinese games with my aunts, uncles and cousins it was fun and most definitely competitive. My grandma cooked our favorite food and it was delicious. I learned that it’s important to spend more time with your family and i also learned that we should always have fun together and spend time with each other

I hope you had a great Chinese New Year, until we meet up which should be soon. Until next time.

What's up? Anything interesting going on in your life? I recently had a very interesting experience that you would probably want to be part of: I celebrated the Chinese New Year with my friends and family.

The most memorable moment of my holiday is when me and my family went to a very crowded part of Malaysia that was celebrating the lively holiday. Everywhere I looked, there were stands and restaurants selling traditional drinks and foods. There, I met some schoolmates, namely Dickson, Dicky, and Dicko. We gathered near the huge water fountain and took selfies, and proceeded to go to the bridge to witness the amazing fireworks show. It was spectacular! I'll introduce them to you when we meet. I think you'll get along with them just fine.

How have you been? We hope you and your crocs are doing okay. We also hope that you're not eating too much salt (also not playing too much with your powerbank). Have you bought that infamous lip balm of yours for your lip care? 

We recently had a Chinese New Year celebration in school and our respective houses. We think that you would've been very happy to come because we didn't need to speak in English. The dumplings were also really good! 

The most memorable thing that happened on that day was probably when someone in class wore army-green crocs (similar to yours). He walked into class and realized that he wasn't wearing his school shoes.

Teachers and students helped each other to decorate the MPH. Lanterns were hanging from the ceiling, cardboard pigs on the stage, and handmade new year cards hanging from (fake) tree branches.

We learned about the Traditional Chinese Culture. It was such a marvelous and enjoyable day! We do hope that you also had fun on your Chinese New Year! We also have a resolution for you! We hope that you grow taller and know how to do grammar and spelling properly (it's doctor not docter).

Good day my dearest friend! It's been a long time since I wrote to you. I've been busy with my studies especially to my Cambridge preparation. I hope you and your family are doing good. How's your pet dog, Doggo? Does he still eat your homework? I hope not because you've been getting a lot of yellow slips for it lately. 

On the 1st of February,  our school held a Chinese New Year celebration. The whole was blasting with colourful ornaments and excitement was vividly painted on everyone's faces as they wear bright red chinese traditional costumes. Thousands of dumplings are sold out in just a few days! Can you imagine??!! I heard that the dumplings taste like 'heaven on earth', too bad i wasn't able to taste it. Everyone exerted an extravagant effort on their performances. For me, the cheerful dance where they shake their bodies which was performed by the primary 1 students was the cutest and the most memorable of them all. 

The Chinese New Year celebration was successful and taught me a lot of things about Chinese' culture and traditions.
