         <description><![CDATA[<div>An organism that is produced through genetic engineering. Vaccine bananas are genetically modified when modified DNA is spliced again into Agrobacterium, which naturally affects bananas along with other plants. When the banana is cloned, it divided into many cells, inheriting the modified DNA and grows into a complete banana plant, the choler responds. The immune system then responds which provides immunity to the original disease. Bananas provide a home to many different species of plants and animals and absorb carbon dioxide. They are grown in tropical environments. The banana was first modified to carry vaccines in 1996.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Bananas were modified to carry vaccines because they can provide developing countries with a cheap way to protect children from life-threatening<br>diseases. Bananas are also a common food staple in many countries, they don't be refrigerated, and can be usually eaten raw.  The DNA is modified by having a strand of the cholera is spliced to create millions of copies of the DNA. The modified DNA is then spliced again into Agrobacterium. The purpose is so that when the Agrobacterium attacks a banana cell, the bacterial DNA is introduced into the plant cell and causes it to create proteins like those found in the original cholera bacterium. Cholera DNA is still present in bananas and they have DNA to determine their traits.  <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Bananas are homes to many species which can be reduced as bananas are going to be picked to be genetically modified.<br>2) New allergens could be introduced which isn't good for people who already suffer from allergies.<br>Benefits<br>1) The vitamin A that you will get from these genetically modified bananas can help prevent early blindness.<br>2) The nutrient levels are higher which is important as nutrients are essential for the human body.</div>]]></description>
