I love travelling. I trek in the himalayas every year, mountains are just an unending inspiration to be around. Living in Mumbai makes the beach a weekend getaway, and Im comfortable with it. 

Im really looking forward to this trip, learning of the history of Copenhagen, a city so far from home, a place with its own timeline, its own culture. I am Kriti Andhare, a grade 9 student from Oberoi International School and here are some interesting facts about me:

I am a total NERD! I accept it and love it:-) I love reading, music, comics, writing, dancing and photography. I play the guitar, the bass, the piano and can handle a bit of the drums. I am a star wars geek and love the MCU. I love reading poetry and short stories but my favourite genres are historical fiction, realistic fiction, autobiographies and memoirs. 

I am a theatre kid as well as a science nerd and a history geek. I prefer books over movies and tv shows. I love designated survivor, riverdale, veep, B99 and the 100. No, I have not watched Friends. I am obsessed with Sherlock and Benedict Cumberbatch. Ed Sheeran, Muse, Led Zeppelin and Taylor Swift are some of my favourite musicians. 

Sports is not really my thing, I prefer activities like MUN. Regardless, I really love swimming, basketball and badminton - in no particular order. I also can cycle endlessly, especially while listening to music. I dabble into a bit of cricket but honestly prefer watching it. 

Traveling is one of my greatest passions as I believe there so much to gain from it. I am really excited at the prospect of travelling alone as it not only grants me complete freedom and independence but also because I will be able to eat as much junk food as I want :-) (hi mom) I am pumped to come to Denmark, especially as a history student as I don’t know much about it. I am really excited to dive into its history and discover where it was during the Renaissance, Age of Exploration, Industrial Revolution, the world wars.

Overall, I cannot wait to meet new people and experience your culture and impact in our global society and economy.
