We left our city Avezzano at 7.00am really enthusiastic. When we arrived at the airport in Rome, I was really happy, but I was worried about my suitcase's mass, because it was about 15,8kg and the maximum was 15kg. (Luckly there was no problem). In the airport there was a piano and everyone could play it: some of us, me included, played it and it was very beautiful. We had the plain at 11.20am and everybody was excited. When we were in the sky, I was a little bored and the hours didn't pass. I tried to read, to sleep, to play with the phone, but nothing enjoyed me. Finally, at 2.00pm, I started to see, outside the window, lots of green under our feet. It was DUBLIN!

About the going back...my friend Alice and me packed our bags in the morning with lots of calm and we didn't do anything for all morning until 12.00am. At this time our host mum brought us to the meeting point and we greeted and thanked her for everything. The plane for Rome left at 4.30pm and we spent the time in the airport's shops. The weather wasn't very good and this thing worried me, but I felt better as soon as the plane had left. This time the flight wasn't boring and the hours passed very fast. In the blink of an eye we flew on the capital, ROME!
Everyone was tired, someone more someone less...everyone was happy and sad: happy to return finally at home, sad because the day after the school and the daily routine waited us and because we were not any more in that beatiful green city...

HOST FAMILY

As I said, I was in family with Alice and we were really really lucky for our host-family. We were in a family where there were only a mum and two sons and they were really kind with us. The mum's name is Aveen and she's about 60 years old but she is really active: every morning she did the lundry for her sons, made breakfast for us and gave food to her robin which came every morning and pecked on the windows to have some scraps. About the two sons they are 25 and 24 years old, the older is Jack, he is shy but he works on the radio and there he is really friendly, he plays in a rugby team and his best friend is Jack Gleeson, an important actor of Game of Thrones. The younger son is Tom, he is a student but he loves so much sport that in the past he took part in most triathlons. Alice and me wanted to cook the last evening and we brought pasta, jowl bacon and pecorino but our mum didn't eat pasta or cheese so we couldn't cook. Apart for this, my family was perfect, I loved it and I missed everyone of them.
(The house was really clean, it had a big garden behind and in front of it there was a big tree which Alice and me used as a landmark)

The school was really near the centre and this allowed us to shop and to have lunch with some serenity, but there was a problem: every morning we were to visit a different museum and we finished always at about 12.30 and we didn't have much time. The lessons were in the afternoon, they started at 2.00pm and finished at 5.15pm and we had little break. During the first lesson we took a test and got divided based on our levels. I had two teachers Meave and Fergal and I liked them, she was a normal teacher who did her own work, instead he was really dynamic and he wasn't ordinary as the other teachers and for these reasons I loved him. For all the week we worked about the world of job, how to make a C.V. or how to make an interview. We worked also a project to show on friday to our italian theachers. The lessons in the afternoon were a little bit hard for two reasons: in the morning we walked a lot and we tired ourself out and also because in Italy we have school in the morning so we weren't used to it. I really liked the school because it was very small, there weren't a lot of people and at the 4th floor there was the student lounge/canteen/boardroom that I really liked because it was big and very bright.

In this "post-it" I want to write about the exit that me with other friends had done...in the evening, after dinner, we could go out. Normally Alice and me went out with Claudia and Valentina: we went to supermarket Lidl, to bowling, to the sea, to the centre for shopping. One time we went also to Dundrum shopping centre and we really had fun there. We went to some shops such as Hard Rock Cafè or beautifull library were I bought a book. One evening we were tired so we walked arround our neighborhood and it was nice too. I'll never forget our wonderfull exit around Dublin.

This heading is a bit general, but in dis post I'd like to talk about some meeting on the road, about wonderful meeting and about unpleasant meeting. First evening me and alice were walking in the centre and in front of Disney's shop there was a buskers. He was a boy who was singing and playing a guitar very very well and we stopped for listen him. The evening after me and other friends went to home and alweys in the centre's road there was another busker. He was really really capable and he was beautiful too. We staid there for a lot of minutes because he was... yes everyone was fell in love with him! We met him also the following evening. In the following day we had other meeting, one was another busker who started playing immediatly after the rain has stopped and he played the soundtrack of "Game of Thrones". But one wasn't very nice: we staied in front of the entrance of St. Stephen Garden when 3 drunk people attacked us. Fortunaly two of them weren't really drunk and they prevent something.

Ok, about food...everyone knows that italian food is the best and for this reason I had with me some food, such as biscuits. Luckly my host-mum cooked well and I had never suffered the famine. Breakfast was at 7.30 am and it was tipical english breakfast with tea, toast with butter and milk, for me it was ok only tea and toast. For lunch we had packet lunch and mine was very plentiful: I had a sandwich, a packet of chips, a little snack, a bottle of water and an apple. We had dinner at 6.30pm and if we wanted to eat out, we could but only if we asked our mum in the morning. Me and Alice were very lucky about food! I also ate other foods: in Dundrum me and Valentina had paid 10,50€ for a simple Margherita that wasn't neither very good. I wanted to taste a donut, so a morning I bought one and I loved it!

With the other class, in the morning we went in differnt museums. I really loved Epic Irland Museum, a museum about Irish Imigrantion's story, it was interactive, with lots of tecnology, which was great for us young. Another museum that I loved was Titanic Musium in Belfast, I really liked it because there were all things about Titanic and its story. The Guinnes store was really fascinating and I liked it too. There were other museums that didn't exicited me, such as National Musium of Irland or James Joyce house, everyone got bored in these museums. I think that we could have used that time to visit some more important places.
