They started with developing their seed ideas all the way to final publication.  They included pictures and a description on each slide. They include a title, subtitles, bold words, and other text features. We bought "bare books", blank hardcover books, and students published their own poetry books. We shared with another class and then sent the books home to parents (it was just in time for the holidays so some kids wrapped the books as gifts). The class is then given that period to go around the classroom and read each others' pieces. I emailed the individual videos to the parents.
